Anthony Aquino Headshot

Anthony Aquino, PhD, Licensed Psychologist, Director

Dr. Anthony Aquino has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. He is a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Aquino is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Dr. Aquino has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. He has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient treatment programs, public and private school settings, and residential treatment facilities. Dr. Aquino is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems theory, as well as art and play therapy for children. Dr. Aquino also works with a multitude of individual clinical issues including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, self-injury, substance abuse, trauma-related issues, learning disabilities, and social skill deficits. In addition to his individual and couples counseling work, Dr. Aquino is currently conducting social skills groups for children and adolescents.

Nancy Goodman, LCSW

Nancy Goodman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She is the clinical director of A Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy Services, L.L.C. She has over 35 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.  Ms. Goodman is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and marriage counseling. She works with many clinical issues including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, grief recovery, and women’s issues.  She believes strongly in the importance of incorporating humor into one’s life, and when appropriate into the therapy.  Ms. Goodman is fluent in Spanish.  She is well versed in both the trials and triumphs of working toward individual, marital, and family harmony. Ms. Goodman is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Noëlle Johnson, LPC

Noëlle Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 15 years of experience providing mental health counseling services to adults, families, adolescents, and children. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Ms. Johnson applies an integrative approach combining cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and humanistic therapy. Ms. Johnson has extensive experience treating trauma, grief, depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, abandonment/attachment problems, family conflict, relationship issues, self-esteem struggles, anger management difficulties, adolescent adjustment issues, and many other barriers to achieving positive physical and mental health. She also has extensive experience working in NJ school systems with a knowledge base in special education and navigating teenage school-based problems.

Natalie A. Kurzeja, LCSW

Natalie Kurzeja is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She holds a Master’s in social work from Marywood University. Ms. Kurzeja has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Ms. Kurzeja has worked in private practice settings, school-based settings, as well as intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization settings. She is a parenting coach, has taught numerous parenting classes, led post-partum depression groups for new mothers, and has developed dual diagnosis curriculum for intensive outpatient programs. Ms. Kurzeja has extensive experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorder, family dynamics, relationship problems, and adolescent-based issues. As a mother of three she understands the delicate balance of home, work life, and the stressors that many people encounter.

Marcia Haffner, LCSW

Marcia Haffner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Ms. Haffner earned her Master’s degree at Fordham University. She has extensive experience working with trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attachment issues, self-esteem problems, and adjustment issues. Ms. Haffner uses a therapeutic approach that is designed to fit each patient’s unique needs in a supportive and safe environment. She is trained in trauma treatment, including brainspotting therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and other person-centered therapy models. Ms. Haffner also has experience working with New Jersey school systems and navigating school-based problems in children and adolescents. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with first responders, including law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers. She is well versed in the unique challenges encountered within those roles.

Philip Yucht, PhD, Practice Manager

Dr. Philip Yucht is the practice manager for A Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy Services, L.L.C. He is the former director of the practice and worked for 48 years as a mental health clinician. Dr. Yucht holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Seton Hall University and a Master’s degree in social work from Columbia University. Dr Yucht is a retired member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the New Jersey Society for Clinical Social Work.
